APPLICATION PROCESS\u00a0<\/strong>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

We propose a formula without flight ticket (at your own charge and booking).<\/p>\n

If you would like to participate in this \u00a0COMPUT\/DIY 2014, please submit your CV\/portfolio by sending an email to\u00a0DIYworkCrew@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0along with the following information :<\/p>\n

DATES<\/strong><\/p>\n

– On May 20th \u201cDIY\u201d organization will announce the list of students who are accepted in this program.
\n– By May 25th the confirmed participants of this program will each have to pay the deposit in the amount of 1000 euros in order to secure a spot in this program.
\n– We will accept a maximum of 20 students in this program.<\/p>\n

DEADLINES<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Deadline for submitting your personal information by e-mail \u2013 May 10th (pre-registration open 1 April)<\/li>\n
  2. Deadline for submitting the 1000 euros deposit \u2013 May 25th<\/li>\n
  3. Deadline for submitting the balance of ‘850’ \u00a0euros\u00a0\u2013 June 10 th<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (in case of major personal difficulties or strong necessity to cancel at the last minute, and if the renunciation is sent before June 10th by email to DIYworkCrew@gmail.com<\/a>, 75% of the amount will be reimbursed. From the 10th to 20th of June, 50% will be reimbursed. After this date the rate is 25% (policy due to the hiring of workers, engineering, tooling and booking of accommodation)<\/p>\n

    NOTES<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u2022 The proposed cost does not include the coming and return flight.
    \n\u2022 The proposed cost does not include lunches and drinks, personal expenditures, etc. (but\u00a0includes breakfast and dinner)
    \n\u2022 Students are required to get medical and travel insurance.
    \n\u2022 Students are required to bring digital camera and laptop (with Rhino + Grasshopper and Premiere or Final Cut Pro or another film-editing program, already installed)<\/p>\n

    SHARING-COST<\/strong>\u00a0 per students (in Euros)<\/p>\n

    This price includes Lodging for 21 days on the floating hotel in a protected mosquito net bedroom of three people with private bathroom + Breakfast + Dinner + one Go and Return by tail-boat)<\/p>\n

    The Hotel\u00a0normally costs double \/ we got a special price as sponsorship<\/p>\n

    Not including Lunch (personal expenses which could be grouped at around 150-200 THB\/3-5 euros per people).<\/p>\n

    Comfort and precaution<\/strong><\/p>\n

    There is no electricity in the hotel. We will provide two generators of 5KW (for Working and Installation zone).<\/p>\n

    Mosquito repellent, boots (rainy season), Laptop + mouse (rhino course), swimming suit, hat, sunscreen (we will be protected by the forest)… All electronic items will be secured in a special room.<\/p>\n

    You have to take a personal insurance (by school or for travelling). Everybody will sign a discharge the first day (teacher and students). No risk on location excepted the one people create by themselves…<\/p>\n

    CREDITS<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The design of the construction, the scenario, shooting and pre-editing of the movie will be done during this DIY-Movie workshop, as an adventure of simultaneous teaching-production process between all participants, as a sharing of knowledge, intentions and credits.<\/p>\n
