APPLICATION PROCESS <\/strong>

We propose a formula without flight ticket (at your own charge and booking).<\/p>\n

If you would like to participate in this “terra \u012bns\u014dla” COMPUT\/DIY 2013, please submit your CV\/portfolio by sending an email to terra.insola@gmail.com<\/strong> no later than APRIL 30 along with the following information :
\n1. Full-name and gender
\n2. Place and date of birth
\n3. Citizenship
\n4. Passport number \/ issue date \/ expiration date
\n5. Permanent address
\n6. Cellphone number and email address
\n+ information for hostel booking – if you will find your own accommodation or will book the one we propose<\/p>\n

– On May 1st “terra \u012bns\u014dla” organization will announce the list of students who are accepted in this program.
\n– By May 3rd the confirmed participants of this program will each have to pay the deposit in the amount of 1500 euros in order to secure a spot in this program.
\n– We will accept a maximum of 20 students in this program.<\/p>\n

DEADLINES
\nDeadline for submitting your personal information by e-mail – April 30
\nDeadline for submitting the 1500 euros deposit – May 03 \/ Remaining 1000 euros – May 15
\n(in case of major personal difficulties or strong necessity to cancel at the last minute, and if the renunciation is sent before May 30 by email to terra.insola@gmail.com, 50% of the amount will be reimbursed, due to the hiring of workers, engineering, tooling and booking of accommodation)<\/p>\n

NOTES
\n\u2022 <\/span>The amount for accommodation is 300\u20ac for 1 month. <\/span>This amount could be <\/span><\/span>subtracted from the 2500\u20ac if the students prefer to find their own lodging on location, or if they have special support from their school or university to participate to the Workshop. <\/span><\/span>In this case the amount requested is 2200\u20ac. <\/span>Columbia University<\/span> students should contact the school administration regarding this matter.<\/span>
\n\u2022 The proposed cost does not include the return flight to Chania.<\/span>
\n\u2022 The proposed cost does not include daily foods and drinks, personal expenditures, etc.
\n\u2022 Students are required to get medical and travel insurance.
\n\u2022 Students are required to bring digital camera and laptop (with Rhino + Grasshopper and Premiere or Final Cut Pro or another film-editing program, already installed)<\/p>\n

Global production cost (materials, construction & film) = 24000 euros, with the support of Chania City.<\/p>\n

The design of the construction, the scenario, shooting and pre-editing of the movie will be both done during this DIY-Movie workshop, as an adventure of simultaneaous teaching-production process between all participants, as a sharing of knowledge, intentions and credits.<\/p>\n
