Installation:
Close 3DSMax, copy all the script directories and paste them to the 3DSMax root directory. A window asking for file replacement should pop up. Answer "All", files in the existing directories will not be erased ;)
Launch 3DSMax. In the menu toolbar, choose "Customize", then "Customise User Interface". Choose "WerwacK s Tools" in the "Category" dropdownlist, then select the script you want to install and drag and drop the associated icon on the desired toolbar. Is no toolbar exist, you can create one by clicking on the button "new" at the right of the "Category" dropdownlist. If the script name appears several times in the list, one or more previous verions are still installed on your system.
To run the script, just click on the button you just added.
3DSMax R3.1 installation notes:- Be sure the script to install works under 3DSMax R3.1. This is specified in the first lines of the ".mcr" file, which you can edit with any text editor.
- Once you have copied all the script directories in the 3DSMax root, go to its dorectory "/ui/Icons", cut all the bitmap files begining with "Wk" and paste them directly to "/ui".
Note: It is strongly adviced to remove any previous versions of the script that may have been installed. To do so, close 3DSMax, go to the root directory, then to "/ui/macroscripts/", and check for the files begining with "wk" in the ".mcr" files. Script version is written in the file name. Select all the files with the name of the script you are currently installing, except the one corresponding to the latest version, and delete them.
